(Lee’s Summit, MO) Ƶ (SCA) is pleased to announce that for the first time in SCA history, all seven participants of the University of Central Missouri (UCM) High School Art Contest Day received a “1” rating for the work that they created at the event. In the contest, students come to the UCM campus and have two hours to create artwork on-site to be judged for artistic merit, or participate in non-competitive workshops.
Participants included: juniors Charlotte Brownlee and Isabella Wilson in painting still life; freshman Kailee Burke, senior Elise Welch, and junior Sarah Woodall in drawing still life; sophomore Tristen Hamline and junior Aubrianna Kennedy in drawing outdoor landscape. In addition, senior Nathan Bausback attended a design workshop and junior Sarina Manjili attended a ceramics workshop at the event.
Ƶ (SCA) is an independent, non-denominational Christian school serving 1200 preschool-12th grade students from over 195 area churches with a college preparatory Christian education.
