(Lee鈥檚 Summit) 鈥� 果冻视频 is pleased to announce senior Ben Peterson as the recipient of the $3,000 SCA Entrepreneurship Scholarship.
The Entrepreneurship Scholarship, available for SCA students who have taken and completed the school鈥檚 Entrepreneurship course, was set up by an anonymous SCA donor who puts a high value on entrepreneurship. At the end of the course, students present their business plan to a panel of impartial judges in a 鈥淪hark Tank鈥� format to determine who has developed the most viable business plan. The winning scholarship encourages the student to continue in an education toward business ventures.
Ben Peterson's business plan is "Peterson's Private Equity & Agency."
鈥淏en has a unique idea for a business,鈥� shared SCA Business Faculty member Georgia Duncan. 鈥淗e began working toward this business venture earlier this year as he began studying for his Real Estate license. The judges were very impressed with Ben's maturity in how well he presented his business idea and how thoroughly he had developed his written business plan.鈥�
Ben will be attending UMKC in the Fall. where he plans to study Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.
