The Character of the Year Award is one of the highest honors bestowed upon SCA students. Recipients are selected because they consistently demonstrate Christ-centered values through their actions, relationships, leadership, and commitment to serving others. These students have distinguished themselves not only through their achievements but also through the way they positively influence their peers, teachers, and community.

Throughout the school year, recipients displayed a commitment to living out the school's mission by treating others with dignity, pursuing excellence, and reflecting the love of Christ in both word and deed. Teachers and staff noted their willingness to encourage classmates, assist those in need, and lead by example both inside and outside the classroom.
